How We Export Fresh Pomegranates from India
India is one of the world's largest producers of pomegranates, and demand for Indian fruit keeps growing across the Middle East, Europe and South-East Asia. At AS EXIME, we work directly with trusted growers in Gujarat and Maharashtra to select export-grade fruit at the right maturity. Every consignment begins at the farm. We check size, colour, sweetness (Brix level) and skin quality before harvest. Only fruit that meets export specifications is picked, graded and packed in ventilated export cartons. For sea shipments, pomegranates are loaded into refrigerated (reefer) containers pre-cooled to 5–7°C. A full 40ft reefer carries roughly 27,000 kg, and the cold chain is maintained from packhouse to destination port. We handle the complete documentation set — phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, APEDA RCMC, packing list and invoice — so buyers receive a clean, customs-ready shipment. If you are an importer, wholesaler or retail chain looking for a reliable Indian pomegranate supplier, send us an enquiry with your destination port and quantity, and we will reply within 24 hours with availability and pricing.
